Badgley graduates Scripps College
On May 16, 2004, Cori Badgley, Phoenix Program graduate of the Juneau- Douglas High School Class of 1999, graduated from Scripps College in Claremont Calif., magna cum laude, with a B.A. degree in politics and international relations. She was elected into membership in Phi Beta Kappa.
She received a Phi Beta Kappa Scholarship and will pursue a juris doctor degree with a concentration in international legal studies at McGeorge School of Law in Sacramento, Calif.
Lang graduates UBC with honors
Aurora Lang graduated with honors from the University of British Columbia with a degree in anthropology. Because she was unable to attend graduation ceremonies, her parents organized a ceremony in her honor at the top of the Mount Roberts Tramway.
She was presented with a cap and gown by her employer, Gastineau Guiding, while her former preschool teacher hummed "Pomp and Circumstances." Food and beverages were provided by her parents.
Rodman graduates UAF with geology degree
Amy Rodman graduated from the University of Alaska Fairbanks with a B.S. degree in geology in May 2004, also making the Dean's List for the spring semester. She will begin an M.S. degree in petroleum engineering at the University of Alaska Fairbanks this summer.
