Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:


Police arrested a man, 23, for domestic violence assault at 7:38 p.m. Tuesday in the downtown area. He was lodged at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center.


Two plant boxes were reported stolen and a wind chime and five additional plant boxes were reported vandalized at 3:11 p.m. Tuesday near Mendenhall Loop Road.

Vandalism and criminal mischief:

A camper shell window was reported broken at 3:11 p.m. Tuesday in the Goldbelt parking lot. Damage is estimated between $200 and $300.

A tire on a 1988 Subaru was reported slashed at 5:57 p.m. Tuesday at Costco.

Underage drinking:

Police cited and released two girls age 16, and a woman, 18, for underage drinking at 2:13 a.m. today near Aisek Street.


Capital City Fire and Rescue responded to a smoke alarm Tuesday afternoon at Juneau-Douglas High School. Fire officials said a substance was set on fire in the boys' lavatory near the commons at the school. Police and fire officials are investigating.

Crime Line

Juneau Crime Line Inc. is offering a cash reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest or indictment of the person or people responsible for a stolen outboard motor from a business in the Industrial Way area April 24. The motor is a gray 40 HP Yamaha 28JET outboard, model 40MJHT, serial number 6H4S-190260, and valued at $3,000.
