Courts

Court records show the following legal actions among those taken recently in Juneau Superior and District courts.

Judgments:

• David Platt, 39, was found guilty of driving under the influence, stemming from a Nov. 4, 2007, incident in which no blood-alcohol content was available. District Court Judge Keith B. Levy imposed 12 months in jail with three months suspended, fined Platt $10,000 with $5,000 suspended, revoked his license for five years and put him on probation for five years.

• April Shoemaker, 25, was found guilty of driving while intoxicated, stemming from a March 11, 2008, incident in which her blood-alcohol content was measured at .176 percent. Magistrate John W. Sivertsen Jr. imposed 46 days in jail with 40 days suspended, fined Shoemaker $3,000 with $1,500 suspended, revoked her license for 90 days and put her on probation for 18 months.

• Eric Theis, 24, was found guilty of driving while intoxicated, stemming from a March 23, 2008, incident in which his blood-alcohol content was measured at .128 percent. Levy imposed 33 days in jail with 30 days suspended, fined Theis $3,000 with $1,500 suspended, revoked his license for 90 days and put him on probation for 18 months.

• Tiffany Lee, 28, was found guilty of driving while intoxicated, stemming from an April 7, 2008, incident in which her blood-alcohol content was measured at .213 percent. Sivertsen imposed 33 days in jail with 30 days suspended, fined Lee $3,000 with $1,500 suspended, revoked her license for 90 days and put her on probation for 18 months.

• Lea Houston, 28, was found guilty of driving while intoxicated, stemming from an April 13, 2008, incident in which no blood-alcohol content was available. Superior Court Judge Philip M. Pallenberg imposed 43 days in jail with 40 days suspended, fined Houston $3,000 with $1,500 suspended, revoked her license for 90 days and put her on probation for 18 months.

• Barbara Gehring, 65, was found guilty of driving while intoxicated, stemming from a May 29, 2008, incident in which her blood-alcohol content was measured at .190 percent. Levy imposed 60 days in jail with 54 days suspended, fined Gehring $3,000 with $1,500 suspended, revoked her license for 90 days and put her on probation for 18 months.
