Snappy, calm, cute pets need homes

Boots will put the snap, the crackle and the pop into your morning before you even reach for a spoon. He is a hilariously fun 1-year-old neutered male husky waiting to be adopted at the Gastineau Humane Society. Boots is making great progress on the leash, but will need a home that is willing to continue his basic training.

Sage is a beautiful adult cat with brown and gray stripes. She is a mellow 7 years old and would be perfect in a home with a calm atmosphere. Sage is the perfect cat for someone in need of a feline friend who won't get tired of being lavished with attention.

Oliver is a cute little bugger who has used his charm to develop some stinky puppy manners. He is a 4-month-old lab mix who will become a wonderful adult dog if he is given proper training and consistency. Oliver would be best in a home without children.

You can visit these pets 3-5:30 p.m. Monday-Friday or 2-5 p.m. Saturday.
