Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:


• A new portable DVD player was reported stolen at 2:24 a.m. Monday in the 1600 block of Renninger Drive in the Lemon Creek area.

• A blue crocheted purse was reported stolen from an unlocked Ford F150 pickup at 8:29 a.m. Monday in the 2200 block of Great Western Street in the Douglas area.

• A pink bicycle and a green electric scooter were reported stolen at 9:31 a.m. Monday in the 3300 block of Nowell Avenue in the Douglas area.


• At 8:13 p.m. Sunday, a tire was reported slashed on a 1969 Cadillac in the 300 block of West 12th Street downtown.

• At 7:41 a.m. Monday, a window was reported broken at a South Franklin Street business downtown.

• At 8:12 a.m. Monday, graffiti was reported on an unspecified government structure in the 9000 block of Mendenhall Loop road.

Vehicle accidents:

• Police cited a man, 84, on a charge of failing to maintain a safe distance in traffic after a traffic accident at 9:51 a.m. Monday on Douglas Highway and Crow Hill Drive. He was driving a 1995 Ford pickup. The other vehicle, a 1985 Honda Civic, was driven by a girl, 17. The Honda reportedly was totaled. Damage to the Ford was estimated at $3,500.

Hit and run:

• At 11:09 a.m. Monday, damage from an unknown vehicle was reported to a 2003 Dodge Neon in the 2200 block of Trout Street near the airport.

• At 11:49 a.m. Monday, damage from an unknown vehicle was reported to a 1995 Ford Mustang in the 900 block of West 10th Street downtown.

Underage drinking:

• Police cited a man and a woman, both 19, on charges of underage drinking at 9:29 p.m. Sunday at False Outer Point after responding to a report of shots being fired.

• Police cited a woman, 19, on a charge of underage drinking at 11:29 p.m. Sunday at Front and Main streets downtown.
