Thanks for supporting JDHS woods classes

Special thanks to Al Tingley and The Tongass Turners who presented Juneau-Douglas High School teachers and woods classes with specialty tools purchased through a grant with the American Association of Woodturners.

Purchased resources included an 8-inch Delta VS grinder, intermediate Wolverine Grinding System, Oneway Stronghold chucks and adaptors, flat jaws, spigot jaws, P&N bowl and spindle gouges and Chuck Stebcenters. These tools and resources will be used in the Creative Woods and Basic Construction Classes, part of the ACE Academy at JDHS.
