The Juneau Pioneers' Home recently hosted its annual "Senior Prom." Residents and staff were dressed to the nines and enjoyed an evening of music, dance, camaraderie and elegance.
We're immeasurably grateful to the people whose generosity of time, talent and presence helped make this a delightful and memorable evening for our residents. Many thanks to: the women of ESA, Sharon Lowe, Margi Maki, Judy Hendriksen, Dorothy Zura, Tracy Sisterman, Lee Bower, Cindy Athearn, Mary Bergander, Jackie Polasky and Pat Beedle, for providing photography and a wide assortment of delicious home-baked cookies; The Thunder Mountain Big Band, whose continuous support of our residents through the sharing of their musical talents is beyond generous; Margi Maki, Dimas Carrillo and the Juneau Pioneers' Home staff, who lent their energy and creative talents toward decorating and refreshments; BJ Imboden, for assisting with hair styling; and to the very generous donor, who has requested anonymity, who provided a beautiful corsage or boutonnière for each resident.
Thank you, one and all, for all that you did to ensure a wonderful evening for our elders. You make Juneau the outstanding community that it is.
