Soldier charged with child pornography

FAIRBANKS - A 25-year-old soldier assigned to Fort Wainwright is under arrest, accused of trading child pornography online.
Drew Wherry - a member of the 472nd Military Police Company - has been indicted on 21 counts of possession of child pornography and one count of distributing child pornography.
He was arrested Friday. Bail is set at $25,000.
Wherry has no prior criminal history.
The multi-agency investigation was led by the Alaska Bureau of Investigation.
