Longtime Juneau resident Maryanne E. Martin, 36, died June 4, 2004, at Wildflower Court after a long illness.
She was born May 31, 1968, in Juneau.
Her family said she enjoyed fishing, hiking and outdoor sports. She also enjoyed sitting down and having long conversations with her family and friends. They said those who knew her considered her a very caring person who was willing to help those she could. They said she was much loved and will be missed dearly.
She is survived by her daughters, Elizabeth J. Martin and Destiny R. Martin; her mother, Elizabeth J. Ramsey; father, Frank S. Dick; step-mother, Charlotte Dick; brothers, Albert F. (Ann Marie) Dick and John S. Dick; sister, Isabel K. Ramos; aunt, Lillian Lopez; nieces, Enchari Rivadeniera and Basanti Dogra; nephews, Darshan Dogra and Samuel and Jonathan Dick; and many great-aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, June 8, at the Church of God, 8497 Thunder Mountain Road. A reception will follow.
