Court records show the following legal actions among those taken recently in Juneau Superior and District courts.
Michael Baylous, 26, was found guilty of driving while intoxicated, stemming from an Feb. 21, 2007, incident in which no blood-alcohol was available. Juneau District Court Judge Kevin G. Miller imposed six days in jail with 40 days suspended, fined Baylous $3,000 with $1,500 suspended, revoked his license for 90 days and put him on probation for 2 years.
Jeremy Karl, 34, was found guilty of driving while intoxicated, stemming from a Mar. 15, 2007, incident in which his blood-alcohol level was measured at .210 percent. Juneau Magistrate John W. Siversten, Jr. imposed six days in jail with 54 days suspended, fined Karl $3,000 with $1,500 suspended, revoked his license for 90 days and put him on probation for 3 years.
Lorinda Richards, 34, was found guilty of driving while intoxicated, stemming from a Mar. 17, 2007, incident in which no blood-alcohol was available. Siversten, Jr. imposed three days in jail with 40 days suspended, fined Richards $3,000 with $1,500 suspended, revoked her license for 90 days and put her on probation for 2 years.
Michael Cox, 35, was found guilty of driving under the influence, stemming from a May 27, 2007, incident in which his blood-alcohol level was measured at .150 percent. Juneau District Court Judge Keith B. Levy imposed twenty days in jail with 100 days suspended, fined Cox $5,000 with $2,000 suspended, revoked his license for 1 year and put him on probation for 3 years.
