Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:

Assaults:

A man, 49, was arrested at 2:15 p.m. Friday near downtown for domestic violence assault and interfering with the report of a domestic violence crime. He was lodged at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

Thefts:

A woman at 4:15 p.m. Friday from Postal Way reported the theft of two aluminum Dumpster bear gates.

A woman at 10 p.m. Friday from Stephen Richards Drive reported the theft of medication from her home.

Vandalism and criminal mischief:

A woman reported at 12:20 a.m. Saturday from the Lemon Creek area that the passenger window on her 1990 Toyota pickup was broken.

Animal encounters:

Two unaggressive bears were seen on Brothers Avenue about 11 a.m. Friday.

An unaggressive bear cub was reported at 10 p.m. near Glacier Highway in the Lemon Creek area.

Other:

A wooden Native mask was found downtown and turned in to the police at 10 a.m. Friday.

A woman, 22, was arrested at 8 p.m. Friday near South Franklin Street on an outstanding Juneau police warrant for failure to pay fines. She was lodged at state prison.

A man, 27, was arrested at 8:30 p.m. Friday near Egan Drive on an outstanding Juneau troopers warrant for failure to pay fines. He was lodged at state prison.

A man, 40, was arrested at 10:15 p.m. Friday near Pocket Park downtown for disorderly conduct. He was lodged at state prison.

A man, 32, was arrested at 11:30 p.m. Friday near Glacier Highway on an outstanding Juneau police warrant for failure to pay fines. He was lodged at state prison.

A woman, 46, was arrested at 1 a.m. Saturday near Front Street for being intoxicated on licensed premises. She was taken to the state prison.

A man, 30, was arrested at 2:45 a.m. Saturday in North Douglas for domestic violence criminal mischief. He was lodged at state prison.

A woman, 18, was arrested Friday by troopers on an outstanding warrant for failing to pay fines and follow conditions of probation. She was lodged at the state prison.
