A mother and infant received minor injuries after they were struck in a crosswalk by a motor vehicle in Ketchikan last Sunday afternoon.
Police reported Tuesday that the mother, carrying her child, was crossing to the upland side of Tongass Avenue at about 12:30 p.m. when she was struck. She and the baby were taken to Ketchikan General Hospital where they were treated and released, according to police.
The driver of the vehicle was cited.
