ANCHORAGE - Two Anchorage residents have admitted threatening and intimidating an Alaska Native in which eggs and other objects were thrown at him.
Nineteen-year-old Robert Bruce Gum pleaded guilty Tuesday in federal court in Anchorage.
Co-defendant Deanna Angelina Scaglione, who made a video recording of the attack she posted on YouTube, has also pleaded guilty to the civil rights crime.
Prosecutors say 21-year-old Scaglione was driving a car in Anchorage last July, and Gum was riding in the front passenger seat, when they spotted a Native man.
According to statements captured on the video, Gum and Scaglione were downtown "egging" Natives. As Scaglione drove and operated the video recorder, Gum threw other objects and threatened the man.
Sentencing is set for Sept. 2.
