Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:
Driving while intoxicated:
John Castillo, 39, was arrested for drunken driving at 11:43 p.m. Saturday near outbound Egan Drive. He also was charged with two counts of reckless endangerment. He was lodged at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center.
Douglas Mahle, 46, was arrested for drunken driving at 12:05 a.m. Sunday near Cinema Drive. He was lodged at the state prison.
Vanessa Anderson, 19, was arrested at 4:41 a.m. Sunday near Glacier Highway for drunken driving. She was lodged at the state prison.
Christian Fletcher, 41, was arrested for drunken driving at 10:15 p.m. Sunday near Vanderbilt Hill. He was lodged at the state prison.
Assaults:
A man, 58, was arrested for domestic violence assault at 4:23 p.m. Saturday in the Mendenhall Valley area. Police believe alcohol was a factor in this incident. He was lodged at the state prison.
Police arrested a woman, 24, for domestic violence assault at 6:45 p.m. Saturday in the Mendenhall Valley area. She was lodged at the state prison.
Thefts:
A black leather bi-fold wallet containing cash and credit cards was reports stolen at 3:30 p.m. Saturday near Salmon Creek Trail Place.
A wallet was reported stolen from a vehicle at 3:41 p.m. Saturday near Auke Bay Harbor Road.
A Nokia cell phone was reported stolen at 4:20 a.m. Sunday near Glacier Highway in Lemon Creek.
Vandalism and criminal mischief:
Three tires on a Ford Mustang were reported slashed at 8:29 p.m. Saturday near Emily Way. The tires were slashed sometime Friday night.
Two tires on a blue van were reported slashed at 10:54 a.m. Saturday near Sharon Street.
The rear tire of a blue Ford Explorer was reported slashed at 2:14 p.m. Sunday near Killewhich Drive.
A 1986 Jeep and a 1997 Acura were reported damaged by rocks at 11:06 p.m. Saturday near Glacier Highway.
Vehicle accidents:
Police cited a man, 32, for careless driving following a two-vehicle accident at 9:44 p.m. Saturday near West Willoughby. The 1978 Chrysler he was driving struck a parked Ford pickup truck causing $2,500 to the Chrysler. The truck sustained $1,500 in damage.
Animal encounters:
Two bear cubs were reported wandering near Northwood Drive at 10:12 a.m. Saturday.
Domestic violence calls: 2.
Alcohol-related calls: 8.
