Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:

Drunken driving:

• William Eriksen, 21, was arrested for drunken driving at 12:51 a.m. Thursday near Mendenhall Boulevard and Aspen Avenue. He was lodged at Lemon Creek Correctional Center.


• At 6:43 p.m. Wednesday, a man, 21, reported her purse, wallet and compact disc player were stolen from her unlocked teal Ford Escalade near Glacier Highway.

• At 7:37 p.m. Wednesday, a man, 58, reported the face of his car Alpine stereo, model CDE9848, was stolen from his unlocked vehicle near Indian Street and the Governor's Mansion. The stereo was worth $75.

• At 10:31 a.m. Thursday, a man, 54, reported $7 in change and a collection of CDs was stolen from his unlocked green Toyota truck near Willoughby Avenue.

Bear complaints:

• At 9:30 p.m. Wednesday, a woman reported two bears near South Franklin Street were being crowded by tourists. The bears soon fled the area.


• A man, 54, reported at 10:10 p.m. Wednesday that a vehicle ran over 15 orange traffic cones near Mendenhall Loop Road. It caused $750 in damage.
