ANCHORAGE - Two employees at an Alaska Airlines cargo hangar were exposed to formaldehyde after a forklift punctured a container.
The Anchorage Fire Department says both employees were treated at the scene Tuesday and refused further treatment.
Fire officials say formaldehyde can be harmful if it comes in contact with skin or is inhaled.
The fire department says the hangar was evacuated for about an hour while the spill, which amounted to about a quart of fluid, was cleaned up.
