ANCHORAGE - Police would like to find the bystanders who helped rescue victims of a plane that crashed June 1 into a building in Anchorage.
Lt. Dave Parker says they should be honored for risking their lives to save four people from the plane. A fifth person, a 4-year-old, died when the Cessna 206 crashed after taking off from Merrill Field.
The bystanders lifted the wing of the burning plane before emergency responders arrived and pulled out the passengers.
