Fresh from the release of their third CD, Bearfoot is set to perform at 7:30 Friday at Centennial Hall.
Tickets are $17 general admission. Those under 21 must attend with a parent or guardian.
The band, comprised of Kate Hamre (acoustic bass), Mike Mickelson (guitar), Jason Norris (mandolin), Angela Oudean (fiddle), and newest member Odessa Jorgensen (vocals/fiddle), recently released "Doors and Windows" to immediate critical acclaim.
"The first week it was out it debuted on Billboard's top bluegrass albums," Hamre said.
The CD marks the first time the band has featured drums (Larry Atamanuik, drummer for Alison Kraus & Union Station) and guest artists.
"It's definitely still Bearfoot, it's just more cohesive," she said of the CD. "It's more about the music then each individual band member."
