JUNEAU - Street crews will begin paving and patching work on Main Street early today that's expected to last two or three days, city Streets Superintendent Mike Scott said.
"We've got some pretty good sized potholes there," he said.
Large holes have developed in the area around the Capitol, from Fourth Street to Egan Drive. Scott said patching will have to do until the entire street is redone next summer in conjunction with work on the new transportation center and parking garage.
Vehicle traffic may be delayed or diverted while the work is underway.
