Juneau police and fire officials reported:


• At 4:42 p.m. Tuesday, a 35-year-old woman reported the theft of a computer and a flat screen monitor ($650) from her home in the 5800 block of Glacier Highway.


• At 2:47 p.m. Tuesday, a 68-year-old man reported his vehicle egged in the 9500 block of Moraine Way.

• At 2:22 a.m. Wednesday, a 31-year-old man was arrested for criminal mischief in the 4500 block of Kanat'a Street. He was lodged in the state prison.

• At 11:13 a.m. Wednesday, a police investigated a report that a 46-year-old man was assaulted by a 33-year-old man in the 300 block of Willoughby Avenue.

Found property:

• At 9:12 p.m. Tuesday, a pink wallet belonging to a 27-year-old woman was brought to police for safekeeping.


• At 12:14 p.m. Tuesday, a 20-year-old man reported fraudulent use of his credit card.


• At 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, a 49-year-old woman reported a 43-year-old man sent her harassing mail.

Lost property:

• At 8:56 a.m. Wednesday, a 53-year-old woman reported a missing black leather wallet ($15), a plane ticket and $120.


• At 12:24 p.m. Tuesday, a 49-year-old man reported the theft of $400.

• At 4:54 p.m. Tuesday, a 16-year-old girl was cited and released for concealment of merchandise in the 200 block of Front Street.

• At 10:58 p.m. Tuesday, an 18-year-old girl was cited and released for shoplifting from Wal-Mart.

• At 10:34 a.m. Wednesday, a 63-year-old man reported his gray Sony camera stolen in the 200 block of Franklin Street.

Traffic hazard:

• At 12:14 p.m. Tuesday, a 1988 Dodge Dakota was impounded as a traffic hazard on Commercial Boulevard.


• At 1:05 p.m. Tuesday, a 58-year-old man reported a 38-year-old man put sand in the fuel tank of his boat on the Taku River.

• At 5:08 p.m. Tuesday, a 48-year-old man reported a vehicle spun out in his driveway spraying rocks about in the 8400 block of Thunder Mountain Road.

• At 9:40 p.m. Tuesday, a 36-year-old man reported two subjects threw eggs at a residence and broke a window in the 2800 block of Mendenhall Loop Road.

• At 10:12 a.m. Wednesday, a 24-year-old man reported vandalism to his 2008 Chevy Malibu in the 1000 block of Timberwolf Lane. Damage was estimated at $700.

Vehicle accident:

• At 5:40 p.m. Tuesday, a 1994 Mercury driven by a 17-year-old boy, a 2008 Subaru driven by a 39-year-old woman, and a 2000 Dodge driven by a 30-year-old woman were in an accident in the 3300 block of Riverside Drive. The 17-year-old driver was cited for failure to maintain a safe distance and the 39-year-old driver was cited for no proof of insurance.

• At 5:42 p.m. Tuesday, a 2006 Ford driven by a 36-year-old woman and a 2007 Honda motorcycle driven by a 36-year-old man were involved in an accident in the 11400 block of Auke Bay Harbor Road. The Ford sustained $2,000 in damage and its driver was cited for failure to yield. The motorcycle sustained $4,000 in damage and the driver was transported to Bartlett Regional Hospital to be treated for minor injuries.

• At 9:55 p.m. Tuesday, a 20-year-old woman was cited and released for reckless driving after the 2000 Toyota she was driving struck a 2007 Chevrolet driven by a 61-year-old man on Egan Drive.
