Safety, stability course offered for fisherman

JUNEAU - The Alaska Marine Safety Education Association is offering a free course for commercial fisherman titled "Upright and Watertight - Stability and Damage Control for commercial fisherman" from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Monday, June 14 at the Bill Ray Center,

This workshop will cover basic stability principles, the effects of common fishing practices on stability, interpreting stability guidance and include practice with damage control and techniques.

Early registration is encouraged to ensure a space in the workshop. Contact AMSEA at 907-747-3287 to register.
