The Juneau Aurora Knights synchronized swimming club dominated the competition at the United States Synchronized Swimming Age Group Western Regional Championships in Bozeman, Mont.

Aurora Knights members Sarah Felix and Koko Urata swept their events during the May 26-28 competition for 16 and 17 year olds.
Felix and Urata, competing together, won the duet competition with a score of 75.122. The score combines figures, which consist of compulsory technical moves, and artistic impression.
The duet defeated teams from Alaska, Washington, Oregon, Idaho and Montana.
In the solo meet, Sarah Felix grabbed the highest score in the figures event with a score of 70.257. Urata took second in figures at 70.229.
With their performances, Felix and Urata both qualified for the National Age Group Championships in Federal Way, Wash. The national championships take place June 23-July 1.
The duet placed third in the national competition last season while Urata placed ninth as a solo athlete.
The national age group championships continue what has already been an amazing year for the duo.
In April, Felix and Urata placed 12th as a duet nationally in the U.S. Junior National Championships in Minneapolis. They also finished second in the U.S. Junior National Western Zone Championships in March.
