LOWER KALSKAG - A juvenile is suspected of causing at least $10,000 in damage to two airplanes, a bus and an elementary school in Lower Kalskag.

The village of 256 is on the Kuskokwim River 89 miles northeast of Bethel.

The damage was reported to Alaska State Troopers just before midnight Tuesday.

Troopers say 21 windows were broken out of the bus.

The two small airplanes were damaged badly enough to be prohibited from flying before repairs.

The Kuspuk School District also reports damage to the Sakar Levi Elementary school building and contents inside. District employees from Aniak and Kalskag traveled to the school for repairs and cleanup.

The juvenile was found sleeping at a relative's home and charged with five counts of criminal mischief.
