Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:

Animal sightings:

• A black bear was reported banging on the door to a residence at 12:02 p.m. Wednesday near Evergreen Avenue.

Drug activity:

• A man, 54, was cited at 3:06 p.m. Wednesday near Shell Simmons Drive for misconduct involving a controlled substance.

Vehicle accidents:

• A woman, 46, backed her 1984 Subaru into a parked 2000 Honda Civic at 7:45 p.m. Wednesday near West Willoughby Avenue. The Honda sustained $1,200 in damage. The Subaru sustained $400 in damage.


• At 6:46 a.m. Thursday near Gladstone Street, a gray raft was reported stolen Wednesday night. The raft is worth $1,600.

• An Alpine stereo and amplifier were reported stolen at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday from a 1988 Mazda pickup near Industrial Boulevard.

• At 11:02 a.m. Thursday near Old Dairy Road, a Denon receiver and two speakers with cherry finish were reported stolen. The items disappeared in April and are worth $7,500.

Disorderly conduct:

• A woman, 40, was cited for disorderly conduct and released at 11:12 a.m. Thursday near Glacier Avenue and 12th Street.
