In Tuesday's Empire a story about the TEMSCO helicopter crashes of September 1999 referred to three helicopters and the three reports the National Transportation Safety Board wrote about them. There were actually four helicopters that went to the glacier that day. The second helicopter in the series, flown by the base manager, did not crash. The third and fourth helicopters in the search did crash. Those third and fourth copters are referred to as helicopters two and three in the NTSB reports and in Tuesday's story.
