Juneau police and fire officials and state police reported:

Sound off on the important issues at

Animal encounters:

• At 9:05 p.m. Tuesday a man reported a bear wandering around in the 6500 block of Glacier Highway.

Driving without license:

• At 8:20 a.m. Wednesday a 26-year-old woman was cited and released for driving unlicensed on Willoughby Avenue.

Drunkenness:

• At 9:49 p.m. Tuesday a 56-year-old man was arrested on a charge of being drunk on licensed premises in the 100 block of Franklin Street.

Hit-and-run:

• At 10:03 p.m. Tuesday a 25-year-old man reported damage from another vehicle to his 2003 Honda Civic while it was parked at People's Wharf.

Theft:

• At 9:55 a.m. Wednesday police reported a stereo, valued at $300 stolen, in the 13400 block of Glacier Highway.
