JUNEAU - Alaska's attorney general plans to review Gov. Sean Parnell's hiring of a senior military affairs adviser.
Nancy Dahlstrom resigned from the state House to take the new position. But there have been questions about when the job was offered and whether it was in line with state law and the constitution.
Attorney General Dan Sullivan told radio show host Dan Fagan Friday that those merit a "more thorough legal analysis" than was previously done.
But he also said looks done by his office on the correct ways for lawmakers to transition to the executive branch indicate recent appointments followed the law, constitution and past practices. He said he assumes Parnell relied on that advice.
A Department of Law spokesman said no timetable had been given for the review.
