Former Juneau resident Jeanette Eileen Zecevic died May 23, 2010, in Springfield, Ore. She was 49.
Zecevic was born April 17, 1961, in Eugene, Ore. to Marlys and Donald Fleming. While in Juneau, she worked as a certified nursing assistant at St. Ann's Nursing Home and the Juneau Alaska Pioneers' Home and as a bartender.
Her family described her as a loving daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, wife and friend, saying "nothing loved is ever lost, and she loved and was loved so much."
She was preceded in death by her husband, Peter Zecevic, who died in 2007.
She is survived by her parents, Marlys and Donald Fleming; daughter, Jennifer Stockton; son, Michael Stockton; granddaughters, Zoe, Chloe and Elizabeth Stockton; brothers, Mike, Donnie and David Fleming and Eric and John Gates.
Services will be held at 5:30 p.m. on June 19, 2010, in Alton Baker Park in Eugene, Ore. A memorial celebration of her life will be held in Juneau next summer.
