Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:

Driving while intoxicated:

Nathan Andrew Quisenberry, 19, was arrested for drunken driving in the Vanderbilt Hill area at 3 a.m. Saturday and taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center.


A woman reported that her wallet was stolen at 3:10 p.m. Friday near Yandukin Drive. The wallet was later recovered with the exception of the cash inside, according to police.

Police received a report at 11 a.m. Friday that a silver mountain bike was stolen from Miller Field at Glacier Valley School.

Police received a report at 6:30 p.m. Friday that a red and yellow mountain bike was stolen on Julep Street.

A woman reported at 7:40 Friday that her briefcase and camera were stolen from her vehicle along Glacier Highway.

Vehicle accidents:

A man, 23, reported that a 1992 Dodge van backed into a 1999 Chevy astro van he had parked at the Juneau Airport about 5 p.m. Friday. The Chevy sustained approximately $1,000 damage. The Dodge van had about $300 damage, according to police.

Animal encounters:

Police received a report of a bear who took a bag of garbage on Blueberry Lane at 12:40 p.m. Friday.

A large black bear walked through a parking lot and went into a wooded area near Wildmeadow Lane at 3:10 p.m. Friday.

Police received a report of a bear near Jensine Street and Glacier Highway at 9:40 p.m. Friday.


A woman, 30, was cited and released for driving with an illegal license at the North Douglas boat harbor at 12:17 p.m. Friday.

A woman, 30, was cited and released for driving without a valid license at 1:48 a.m. Saturday in downtown Juneau.

Domestic violence calls: 0.
