Driving while intoxicated:
Kenneth Hoople, 41, was arrested for drunken driving of a watercraft at 6:24 p.m. Saturday near Harris Harbor. Hoople was lodged at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center.
Thomas Dean Hixon, 40, was arrested at 9:55 a.m. Sunday near Echo Cove for drunken driving. He was lodged at the state prison.
Police arrested and charged a woman, 26, with two counts of domestic violence abuse at 5:38 a.m. Sunday in Douglas. She also was charged with resisting arrest. Police believe alcohol was a factor in this incident. She was lodged at the state prison.
Police arrested a woman, 44, for disorderly conduct and five counts of assault at 9:45 p.m. Sunday near Echo Cove. Police believe alcohol was a factor in this incident. She was lodged at the state prison.
A red BMX bicycle was reported stolen at 1:46 p.m. Saturday from the side yard of a home on Julep Street. The theft occurred sometime in the last week.
A black 18-speed mountain bike was reported stolen at 4:23 p.m. Saturday from the driveway of a home on Behrends Avenue sometime during the last week.
A Sony in-car stereo/CD player was reported stolen at 4:25 p.m. Saturday from an unlocked green Ford Explorer on Glacier Highway. Police have no leads or suspects.
A silver boys' bike with stunt pegs was reported stolen at 9:13 p.m. Saturday near Churchill Street.
A wallet was reported stolen at 10:28 a.m. Sunday from an undisclosed location. Police have no leads or suspects.
A black and gray portable CD player with headphones, 13 CDs and a black Nokia cell phone were reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle at 2:38 a.m. today near Glacier Highway in Lemon Creek.
Police cited and released a 17-year-old girl for sixth-degree misconduct involving a controlled substance, a misdemeanor, at 12:04 a.m. Sunday near Thane Road and Sheep Creek.
Vandalism and criminal mischief:
A broken window in a Toyota Celica was reported at 4:16 p.m. Sunday near Glacier Highway and Sunshine Cove.
A woman, 31, sustained minor injuries as a result of being struck by a vehicle at 8:45 p.m. Sunday on Mendenhall Mall Road near Mendenhall Loop Road. A 1986 Nissan, driven by a man, 37, turned from Mendenhall Loop Road at a low rate of speed, according to police, into a parking lot. The driver told police neither he nor his passenger saw the woman, who was walking in the same direction the vehicle was heading, because of the glare of the setting sun. The woman was struck from behind and was taken to Bartlett Regional Hospital where she was treated and released. Police said no citations are pending at this time.
An 18-year-old man was taken to the hospital at 8:15 a.m. today following a one-vehicle accident in front of the Auke Bay Post Office. The man's vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree around 7:15. He was treated for a minor knee injury and released earlier today.
