Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:

Domestic dispute:

• Police arrested a man, 42, at 8:23 p.m. Tuesday in the Lemon Creek area on a charge of violating a protective order relating to domestic violence. They transported him to the Lemon Creek Correctional Center.


• At 9:02 a.m. Tuesday, a green Murray mountain bike worth $120 was reported to have been stolen.

• A black and gray camel-style backpack containing a personal compact disc player, a water bottle and gloves was reported stolen at 10:15 a.m. Wednesday near North Douglas Island and Bonnie Brae.

• A blue backpack containing miscellaneous personal items and cash was reported at 10:18 a.m. Wednesday to have been stolen from a dock at Twin Lakes.


• A man reported at 9:38 a.m. Wednesday that at 1 a.m. the back of his Valley residence near Sharon Street was pelted with eggs.

• A man reported at 10:50 a.m. Wednesday that a door to a building near South Franklin Street was spray painted with graffiti.

Traffic stop:

• Police impounded a vehicle after citing its operator, a woman, 44, on a charge of driving without a license at 8:28 a.m. Wednesday on inbound Egan Drive near Yandukin Drive

Lost property:

• At 4:16 p.m. Tuesday, a woman reported losing a red and black purse near Mendenhall Mall Road. The purse reportedly contained a wallet and a cellular telephone.

Animal encounters:

• A bear and two cubs were reported at 2:58 p.m. Tuesday to be wandering near Glacier Highway in the Lemon Creek area. At 6:14 p.m. Tuesday, a bear was reported with a bag of garbage in a wooded lot near Glacier Highway in Lemon Creek.
