Brian Mielke went 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI as the Mariners slipped past the Cardinals 11-9 in a Gastineau Channel Little League game on Saturday at Miller Field.
Andrew Williamson and Mielke pitched in the win. Also, Williamson went 1-for-3 with two runs scored.
For the Cardinals, Hunter Miller had two doubles and an RBI while Kaleb Tompkins had a base hit and two runs scored. Stefan Jones, Curtis Stickler, Nathan Klein and Tompkins all pitched in defeat.
MAJOR BASEBALL
Braves 2, Angels 1
The Braves' Adam Empson and Tod Baseden combined to limit the Angels to one run in a win on Saturday.
Gus Swanton and Kenny Fox pitched for the Angels.
Phillies 11, Braves 7
The Phillies rallied from a six-run deficit to down the Braves on Thursday.
George Grummett aided the rally with a two-run home run.
Grummett, Ryan Lee and Grant Ainsworth pitched for the Phillies while R.J. Markovich, Tod Baseden and Dennis Barril took the ball for the Braves.
Mariners 5, Athletics 4
Jake Macaulay's RBI single drove in Andrew Williamson with the go-ahead run as the Mariners upended the Athletics on Thursday.
For the Mariners, Dustin Rumfelt went 2-for-3 with two doubles, two runs scored and an RBI. Brian Mielke, Nick Stewart and Rumfelt all pitched in the win.
Jackson Pavitt hit two triples and score a run, Tal Norvell hit an RBI double and Collin Ludeman hit a solo home-run in the loss. Norvell and Ludeman pitched in defeat.
Cardinals 11, Angels 2
Tanner Petrie and Kaleb Tompkins pitched in the Cardinals' win over the Angels on Thursday.
Phillies 4, Mariners 1
Jeryd Schauwecker scored twice and had a base hit for the Phillies on Tuesday.
Jared Markovich allowed two hits and struck out seven batters in the win while George Grummett added two innings of shutout relief.
Andrew Williamson and Brian Mielke pitched for the M's.
Cardinals 12, Braves 6
Nathan Klein, Stephen Jones and Kaleb Tompkins pitched in the win on Tuesday.
R.J. Markovich, Tod Baseden, Jasper McNaugton and Dennis Barril all pitched in defeat.

RipTide 16, Reign 7
Kayla Balovich hit a three-run triple while Heather Alducin and Savanna Schauwecker hit home runs in the RipTide's win over the Reign on Saturday.
For the Reign, Racheal Doogan scored twice and Bailey Davenport had two hits.
RipTide 10, Reign 3
Savanna Schauwecker pitched a complete game and Heather Alducin hit a grand slam to pace the RipTide past the Reign on Saturday.
Brittney Browne added a two-run single and two runs scored in the win.
Breanne Chapman scored twice for the Reign.
RipTide 12, Crush 11
Jodi Mesdag scored the game-winning run in the RipTide's triumph over the Crush on Thursday.
Savanna Schauwecker turned a double play and relief pitcher Sierra Westika earned the win for the Rip Tide.
For the Crush, Gracie Meiners hit a three-run triple while Megan Punongbayan and Hannah Finochio added base hits.
