Thefts, lost/found items:

About 8:30 a.m. Friday, a woman (age not given) turned in to police a black leather wallet she found at the Municipal Building. The wallet, containing identification and credit cards, was placed into safekeeping pending contact with its owner.

About 10:30 a.m. Friday, a pink child's bike with white tires was found and placed in safekeeping.

A man, 41, reported about 11 a.m. Friday he lost his blue nylon briefcase June 12 on Glacier Highway. The briefcase contained an airline ticket worth $1,250.

A woman (no age given) reported about 3 p.m. Friday from Fritz Cove Road that two bicycles had been stolen. One was a blue Bianchi mountain bike valued at $600; the other was a silver KHS mountain bike valued at $600.

About 6 p.m. Friday, a man, 54, reported misplacing his black binoculars and a 35mm camera somewhere in Juneau.

A woman, 48, reported about 11:30 p.m. Friday that a black and white go-cart had been stolen from in front of her residence on Tongass Boulevard. The go-cart has a value of $700. The case is under investigation by police.

About 1:30 a.m. Saturday, a woman, 25, reported the theft of a boy's black 18-speed mountain bike from behind the Malaspina Apartments. The estimated value is $100. There were no leads or suspects.

Assault:

Shortly after 9 p.m. Friday, a boy, 15, was arrested after physically assaulting his mother. He was lodged at Johnson Youth Center.

Minutes before midnight Friday, a man, 40 was arrested at a Juneau business for trespassing, assault and being intoxicated on a licensed premises. He was lodged at state prison.

Vehicle accidents:

Shortly before 6 p.m. Friday, there was a motor vehicle accident on Egan Drive inbound. The first vehicle, operated by a woman, 26, rear-ended the second vehicle, operated by a woman, 18. The first vehicle sustained $500 to $1,000 damage. The second vehicle sustained $100 damage.

Downtown firefighters and police responded at 8:27 a.m. Saturday to a two-vehicle accident at the foot of Cordova Street in Douglas. Two people were transported to Bartlett Regional Hospital.

Warrant arrests:

About 11:30 a.m. Friday, a man, 31, was arrested on an outstanding Alaska State Trooper warrant for failure to appear at a status hearing. The location of his arrest was not given.

Underage drinking:

Shortly after midnight Friday, a man, 20, was cited for being a minor on a licensed premises and for possession of false identification. He was released. Alcohol was involved.

About 4:30 a.m. Saturday, a boy, 17, was arrested at a Glacier Highway trailer park for driving while his license was revoked, for minor consuming and for operating a motor vehicle after consuming alcohol. He was released to his mother. The vehicle was impounded.

Fires:

Capital City Fire and Rescue responded at 5:40 a.m. Saturday to a false alarm at Saint Ann's Care Center. Smoke issuing from the smoking room at the center set off the alarm, administrators said.

Other:

About 10:30 p.m. Friday, a man, 62, was arrested in Pocket Park for failure to register as a sexual offender. He was lodged at state prison on $500 bail.
