Sound off on the important issues at

Animal complaints:

• Between 8:03 p.m. and 8:10 p.m. Friday, police received three reports of a bear in the 4000 block of Delta Drive. In the last call, police were told the bear was aggressive. But it was gone by the time officials arrived.

• At 12:46 p.m. Saturday, a bear was reported on Carrol Way.

• At about 3 p.m. Saturday, police received two reports of a bear on Irwin Street.

• At 7:10 p.m. Saturday, police received a report of a bear in the 6000 block of Glacier Spur Road.

• At 9:08 p.m. Saturday, a man reported a small bear on B Street.

• At 9:47 p.m. Saturday, a man reported seeing a bear cub in a tree in the 3600 block of Amalga Street.

• At 11:48 p.m. Saturday, police received a report of a bear in a garage in the 500 block of Franklin Street.

Assault:

• At 4:14 a.m. Saturday, a 24-year-old man was arrested on charges of assault and reckless endangerment in the 1600 block of Douglas Highway. He was lodged at Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

Burglary:

• At 12:33 p.m. Saturday, two televisions together worth $1,300 were reported stolen from a home in the 8100 block of Thunder Street.

Domestic violence:

• At 4:19 p.m. Friday, a 16-year-old girl was arrested on a charge of domestic violence assault in the 8900 block of Haffner Court. She was lodged at the Johnson Youth Center.

• At 6:34 p.m. Saturday, a 33-year-old man was arrested on a charge of domestic violence assault in the 9900 block of Stephen Richards Memorial Drive. He was lodged at the state prison.

Driving while intoxicated:

• At 12:07 a.m. Saturday, James Westfall, 42, was arrested on a charge of driving while intoxicated on Main Street. He was lodged at the state prison, and his vehicle was impounded.

• At 2:50 a.m. Saturday, Teresa Huggins, 33, was arrested on a charge of driving while intoxicated and cited on a charge of driving without a license. She was lodged at the state prison, and her vehicle was impounded.

Driving without license:

• At 12:01 a.m. Saturday, a 29-year-old man was cited on a charge of driving without a license on Ferry Way.

• At 9:45 p.m. Saturday, an 18-year-old man was cited on a charge of driving without a license on Yandukin Drive.

Hit-and-run:

• At 12:55 a.m. Sunday, a car's left tail light was damaged in a hit-and-run on Mendenhall Mall Road.

Theft:

• At 12:03 p.m. Friday, a wallet was reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 8400 block of Thunder Mountain Road.

• At 1:17 p.m. Friday, a man reported the theft of an iPod charger from his vehicle in the 1000 block of Arctic Circle.

• At 4:28 p.m. Friday, a woman reported the theft of change from her truck in the 2900 block of Linda Avenue.

• At 10:17 p.m. Friday, a woman reported a vehicle rifling in the 9300 block of Center Court.

• At 3:14 p.m. Saturday, a purse with a cellular phone, cash retainer and ID cards, together worth $1,185, was reported stolen on Marine Way.

• At 11:55 p.m. Saturday, a case of beer was reported stolen from a truck in the 3300 block of Douglas Highway.

Vandalism:

• At 12:20 p.m. Saturday, $200 in damage was reported to a building in the 100 block of Franklin Street.

• At 9:16 a.m. Sunday, a passenger front window was reported scratched on a vehicle on Basin Road.
