Teens arrested after assault in Valley

JUNEAU - A 13-year-old boy was assaulted and threatened with a knife at 7:30 p.m. Monday, and two teens were arrested.

The victim was on Mendenhall Loop Road and Kodzoff Acres Trailer Court when the incident occurred. He did not suffer serious injuries.

Juneau police officers followed leads and identified two suspects.

A 15-year-old boy was arrested on a charge of felony assault, and a 13-year-old boy was arrested on a charge of misdemeanor assault. They were lodged at Johnson Youth Center.
