State closes trail over bear concerns

ANCHORAGE - Concerns of grizzly bear activity have prompted state officials to close a popular trail.
Chugach State Park officials have closed a portion of the Indian to Girdwood bike trail, which parallels the Seward Highway south of Anchorage.
The closed section is from a one-mile stretch, from Mile Post 96 to 97, near Bird Point.
