Police on Wednesday arrested Adrienne Oney, 20. She also was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol.
She was behind the wheel of a car that struck and killed Michael Fitka, 22, early Dec. 21, according to police.
The couple had been at a friend's house drinking heavily, according to police. A friend told officers the couple between them downed two fifths of bourbon.
Fitka decided to go for a walk. A short time later, at about 4 a.m., Oney got into her car and began looking for Fitka.
As she turned north from East 32nd Avenue onto Baxter Road, her car hit Fitka and began dragging him. Police said Oney continued driving for more than 100 feet before stopping.
Fitka was dead when police arrived.
The street was well-lit and poor visibility was not a factor in the incident, police said in December.
Oney's bail was set at $25,000.
