Wyatt and Moats wed

Dana Lynn Moats and Geoffrey Kent Wyatt, both of Juneau, were married on June 9, 2007, at the Church of Christ in Juneau. The minister was Jon D. Paden.

The bride is the daughter of David and Veronica Moats, both of Michigan. A graduate of Alma College, in Alma, Mich., she is a teacher at Riverbend Elementary School.

The groom is the son of John and Betty Wyatt, of Vancouver, Wash. A graduate of Harding University, in Searcy, Ark., he is a teacher at Glacier Valley Elementary School.

The maid of honor was Veronica Moats, the bride's mother. Her attendants were Lela Paden and Sarah Henderson.

The best man was Albert "Bubba" Cook, a friend of the groom. The groomsmen were David Wyatt and Victor Leamer.

The couple is spending their six-week honeymoon in Washington, Oregon, Romania, Turkey and on the Alaska Marine Highway. They will make their home in Juneau.
