Courts

Court records show the following legal actions among those taken recently in Juneau Superior and District courts.

Judgments:

• Jayne Severin, 26, was found guilty of driving while intoxicated, stemming from a Feb. 19, 2008, incident in which her blood-alcohol content was measured at .227 percent. Magistrate John W. Sivertsen Jr. imposed 46 days in jail with 40 days suspended, fined Severin $3,000 with $1,500 suspended, revoked her license for 90 days and put her on probation for two years.

• Derrack Epperson, 21, was found guilty of driving while intoxicated, stemming from a May 17, 2008, incident in which his blood-alcohol content was measured at .103 percent. District Court Judge Keith B. Levy imposed 33 days in jail with 30 days suspended, fined Epperson $3,000 with $1,500 suspended, revoked his license for 90 days and put him on probation for 18 months.

• Paul Pippin, 54, was found guilty of driving under the influence, stemming from a May 25, 2008, incident in which his blood-alcohol content was measured at .155 percent. Sivertsen imposed 120 days in jail with 95 days suspended, fined Pippin $6,000 with $3,000 suspended, revoked his license for one year and put him on probation for two years.

• Edward Austin, 39, was found guilty of driving while intoxicated, stemming from a May 25, 2008, incident in which his blood-alcohol content was measured at .091 percent. Sivertsen imposed 33 days in jail with 30 days suspended, fined Austin $3,000 with $1,500 suspended, revoked his license for 90 days and put him on probation for 18 months.
