Juneau resident shares honey-curried chicken recipe

R.D., of Juneau, e-mails: "My brother-in-law Doug used to make this dish for family gatherings; now my husband likes the sauce so much he scrapes the pan. It's very tasty, but not hot."

Honey-curried chicken

6 chicken breasts

½ cup (1 stick) margarine or butter, softened

4 tablespoons prepared mustard

4 t4aspoons curry powder

½ cup honey

1. In a medium bowl, combine margarine, mustard, curry powder and hone. Blend with a fork. Dip chicken breasts in mixture and place skin-side down in baking dish.

2. Bake 40 minutes in a 350-degree oven. Turn chicken over and baste with drippings. Bake an additional 15 minutes.

Serve with rice pilaf.
