Sons of Norway to host a two-day wood carving workshop Tuesday, Wednesday

JUNEAU - Juneau Sons of Norway Svalbard Lodge 2-33 will host a two-day wood carving workshop from 1 to 5 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday at the Juneau Arts & Culture Center.
Harley Refsal, of Decorah, Iowa, will teach Scandinavian wood carving. He is an internationally recognized figure carver, specializing in Scandinavian flat-plane style of woodcarving.
Cost for both days is $100 and includes eight hours of instruction and all materials. Workshop is limited to 15 spaces.
