The participants, families and staff of the Bridge Adult Day Program of Catholic Community Service would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to the following individuals and organizations for their recent contributions to our program:
Holland America Crusie Line, for their generous financial contribution used to purchase an electric lift recliner;
Daisy Girl Scout Troop 16, for their "secret" gifts and gardening talents;
Ed Buyarski, for his expertise in the design and care of our memory garden;
Sue Nielsen, master gardener, for her donation of plants and work in our garden;
Southeast Alaska Master Gardeners Club, for their donation of plants and a Mountain Ash tree;
Alaska T-Shirt Co., for their donation of a tree and shrubs;
Gastineau Human Services, for their muscle in moving the recliner, trees and shrubs to their new home here at the Bridge;
Gastineau Rotary, for their donation of bulbs, planted each fall by Kevin Ritchie and enjoyed each spring and summer when they bloom and bring color to our days;
And last but not least, Juneau Jazz & Classics, for coordinating a concert by the Anat Cohen quartet during the beautiful sunny weather we enjoyed last week!
