25th Anniversary Rainball Invitational softball tournament: All day at Dimond Park and Savikko Park. Scorekeepers are needed for the softball tournament, and paid $8 a game, with info available from Juneau Sports Association (463-3633). Juneau Golf Club-Hole in One Tournament: Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Vintage Business Park, across the road from Carrs. Food and prizes, including round trip tickets to Seattle.

Sunday, July 2

Mount Juneau Ridge Run: 7:30 a.m. at end of Basin Road (Perseverance Trail parking lot). Adventure race up Perseverance Trail, up to Mount Juneau, along ridgeline and back down Granite Creek Trail. Due to distance (approximately 15 miles) and trail hazards, participants must be adequately conditioned to participate. Race may be postponed if necessary due to weather. Thunder Mountain Sports Camps: Soccer and baseball camps with local coaches, and high school and collegiate coaches from the lower 48. Four camps offered: ``Wee'' Soccer Camp, July 17-21 ($65); Regular Soccer Camp, July 31-Aug. 4 ($90); Advanced Soccer Camp, July 24-28 ($90); and Baseball Camp, July 24-28 ($70).
