Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:
Driving while intoxicated:
Simone Vetrano, 40, was arrested at 1:18 a.m. Friday near North Douglas Highway for drunken driving, driving with a blood alcohol level over 0.10 percent and reckless endangerment. She was processed at the Juneau Police Department and taken to the Lemon Creek Correctional Center. The vehicle was released to a licensed driver.
Robert Simpson, 20, was arrested at 1:32 a.m. Friday on Egan Drive near Main Street for drunken driving. He also was charged with refusal to take a breath test, reckless endangerment and fourth-degree weapon misconduct. The vehicle was impounded.
Dirk Daugherty, 20, was arrested at 3:07 a.m. Friday on Marine Way for drunken driving. He also was charged with refusal to take a breath test, reckless driving and failure to give immediate notice of an accident. He was released. The vehicle was left parked.
A 48-year-old man was arrested for domestic violence assault at 10:44 p.m. Thursday off Glacier Highway near downtown. He was taken to state prison.
A silver and red bike was stolen from the Whittier Street area at 7:15 a.m. Thursday.
A man called at 7:55 a.m. Thursday to report a 1000-watt Alpine amplifier stolen from his locked '84 Ford Bronco on Delta Drive.
A woman called at 10:27 a.m. Thursday to report the theft of her purse from the Fred Meyer parking lot. The purse contained a Nokia cell phone, handspring Palm Pilot, wallet and personal items.
Vandalism and criminal mischief:
A Glacier Highway business called at 11:16 a.m. Thursday to report vandalism to an unoccupied building.
A woman called at 1:41 p.m. Thursday to report that her vehicle had been keyed sometime Wednesday in the Fred Meyer parking lot.
The Southeast Alaska Narcotics Enforcement Team, with the assistance of the Juneau and Hoonah Police Departments and the Alaska State Troopers, served a search warrant at a residence on Tongass Boulevard on Wednesday. Methamphetamine and other evidentiary items were seized, and two women and a man were question and released. The investigation is ongoing.
Bears were reported at Rainbow Row at 7:20 a.m. Thursday and on Glacier Highway near downtown at 12:58 p.m. Thursday,
A 20-year-old man was cited for driving while his license was revoked at 4:22 p.m. Thursday on Front Street. He was released and his vehicle was impounded.
