Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:


• A woman reported at 5:25 p.m. Sunday near Anka Street the theft of an awning, worth $700, from a travel trailer. Also stolen was a speaker box worth $500.

• A man reported at 6:30 p.m. Sunday near Nowell Avenue the theft of three games worth $150.

• A woman reported at 9:40 a.m. Monday near Auke Rec that three rings worth $490 were stolen on Saturday.

• A woman reported at 10:20 a.m. Monday near Aurora Court that $60 was stolen from her vehicle.


• A woman reported at 7:30 a.m. Monday near Lemon Creek Road that her car was keyed, causing $1,500 in damage.

Vehicle accident:

• At 10 a.m. Monday on Egan Drive a 1996 Honda driven by a woman, 19, ran over a saw that fell from the bed of a 1992 Chevy truck. The truck driver, a man, 55, was cited for having an insecure load.

Animal reports:

• A resident reported at 10 p.m. Sunday near Engineer's Cutoff Road that a sow bear and two cubs tried to get into garbage.

• A resident reported a nonaggressive bear with cubs at about 12:10 a.m. Monday near Seventh Street downtown.

• A resident reported at 12:30 a.m. Monday near Tongass Boulevard that a bear was pushing on her garage door.
