Keven Garrison

Former Juneau resident Keven Anthony Garrison, 35, died June 16, 2004, in Port Townsend, Wash., due to complications stemming from a lifelong struggle with asthma.

His family wrote, "Keven touched the hearts of many people and will be missed dearly by his friends and family."

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Bill and Isabel Metz of Juneau; and his uncle, Chris Garrison of Juneau.

He is survived by his father, Jeff Garrison of Juneau; mother, Wilhelmina Kelly of Port Townsend; wife of 12 years, Julie Meirose of Port Townsend; brothers, Philip Scott of Juneau, Nicholas Kelly, Loren Fisher; sister, Tara Kelly, all of Port Townsend; grandfather, Richard Garrison of Juneau; grandmother Margaret Hawkins of Juneau; and numerous uncles, aunts and cousins.

A celebration of his life will be held at 7 p.m. Friday, June 25 at the Elks Lodge in Port Townsend. Anyone wanting to attend will be welcome.
