Trespassing:
Police arrested a 21-year-old on a charge of trespassing at 12:05 p.m. Wednesday in the 6500 Glacier Highway. The man was additionally charged with two counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
Vandalism:
A 41-year-old man reported at 10:22 p.m. Wednesday that his boat was vandalized in the 11900 Glacier Highway area.
Vehicle accident:
After a vehicle accident, an 18-year-old woman was cited for failure to carry proof of insurance and a 32-year-old woman was cited for failure to exercise due care at 12:47 p.m. Wednesday at Egan Drive near McDonald's.
A vehicle accident between a 2001 Toyota, driven by a 19-year-old woman, and a Dodge, driven by a 21-year-old man, was reported at 3:53 p.m. in the 300 block of South Franklin Street.
Hit and run:
A 58-year-old man reported at 8:39 a.m. Thursday that his 1994 Chevrolet van was struck while parked and occupied in the 100 block of Second Street in Juneau. The vehicle that hit it was a Jeep Cherokee that left the scene.
Theft:
A purse containing a cell phone, credit cards and a checkbook was reported stolen at 5:50 p.m. Wednesday in the 100 block of South Seward Street.
A men's red and black Trek mountain bike were reported stolen at 9:51 p.m. Wednesday from the Windfall Lake Trail.
A 1990 Ford truck with the keys left inside was reported stolen at 10:46 p.m. Wednesday in the 9400 block of Glacier Highway. The vehicle was recovered a short time later.
A 56-year-old man reported at 9:22 a.m. Thursday that $1,000 worth of construction equipment was stolen out of the bed of his truck in the 1000 block of Coogan Drive.
Traffic stop:
A 48-year-old man was cited for driving without a license at 10:56 p.m. Wednesday at Tongass Boulevard and Trinity Drive. The vehicle he was driving was impounded.
Animal encounters:
A nonaggressive bear was reported in the 17000 block of Glacier Highway at 6:50 a.m. Thursday.
