Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:

Assaults:

A 30-year-old man was arrested for domestic violence and interfering with the report of a domestic violence crime at 10 p.m. Friday on Rosedale Street. He was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

A 21-year-old man was arrested for harassment, two counts of disorderly conduct and assault on a police officer at midnight Saturday on Glacier Highway. A 42-year-old man was also arrested for disorderly conduct. Both were taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

A 36-year-old woman was arrested for domestic violence and interfering with the reporting of a domestic violence crime at 2 a.m. Saturday downtown. She was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

Thefts:

About $1,000 of tools were stolen from a trailer in Churchill Court sometime before 7 p.m. Friday.

Underage drinking:

A 20-year-old man was arrested for contributing to the delinquency of minors and for underage drinking at 3:30 a.m. Saturday on Gull Way. He was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center. Six girls, ages 15 to 18, and four boys, ages 15 to 20, were also arrested for underage drinking. They were released to their parents.

Vehicle accidents:

A car driven by a 20-year-old woman rear-ended a pickup at 7:45 a.m. Friday at the McNugget intersection, doing about $4,000 damage to her car and $500 damage to the other vehicle. The woman was cited for failing to maintain a safe driving distance.

A car driven by a 54-year-old man rearended a pickup at 8 a.m. Friday at the intersection of Egan Drive and Loop Road, doing about $2,000 damage to his car and $600 damage to the pickup. The man was cited for failing to maintain a safe distance.

Hit-and-run incidents:

A softball broke a windshield sometime before 7:20 a.m. Friday at Savikko Park.

Animal encounters:

A bear was getting into garbage on the Mendenhall Peninsula at 10:40 a.m. Friday.

A bear was reported around Steelhead Road at 4 p.m. Friday.

A bear was reported on River Road at 7:30 p.m. Friday.

* 11:30 p.m. Friday as it tried to get into the trash.

A bear was reported on Kanata Dei Street at 1:15 a.m. Saturday and again at 3:30 a.m.

Other:

A 41-year-old man and a 26-year-old man were arrested for having open containers of alcohol on the Steamship Dock downtown at 8 p.m. Friday.

Alcohol-related calls: 5.
