Juneau's Susan Macaulay racked up three gold medals and one bronze at the 27th annual National Veterans Wheelchair Games, which lasted Tuesday through Saturday in Milwaukee.

Macaulay won gold in the Class V power soccer competition. Her 317 score was good for a gold medal in ramp bowling. Her third gold came in the motorized slalom course, where her time of 3 minutes, 59 seconds in Class V Open division earned her a first-place medal.

In the air-gun marksmanship event, Macaulay scored a 214 for a bronze medal.
Macaulay, a 41-year-old member of the United States Air Force, was one of six athletes representing Alaska in Milwaukee.
