JUNEAU - The Assembly gave unanimous approval Monday to a new coastal management plan.
The plan allows Juneau to use its own policies, instead of relying solely on state standards, when commenting on development projects going through the state-led multi-agency permit review, the Alaska Coastal Management Program.
The plan was approved in April by the Planning Commission.
